From the Outback to Overland

She came in from Australia, sun-bleached and tired — a 1976 Land Rover Series III 109. Right-hand drive. Old bones, but still standing proud. The kind of truck that doesn’t ask for mercy. Just repair.

We tore down the engine, fixed the head gasket that had given up, and rebuilt the heart. Differential? Worn and whining. We gutted it, rebuilt it, sealed it tight. The steering was vague — now it's sharp, with a new box and fresh tie rods. The alternator’s new. So’s the battery. The carb is crisp, the spark plugs hot, and everything under the hood now speaks the same clean mechanical language.

The Details That Matter

This isn’t just a rescue job. It’s a resurrection. We chased down every leak and short. We fixed the latch that wouldn't hold, added a classic choke cable, realigned the wheels, and tightened every seal against wind and rain. We even gave it new seatbelts — because a truck like this deserves to keep going, and its driver deserves to stay safe doing it.
