Performance, Reconditioned
Snow White arrived with everything that defines a G63 already in place the unmistakable G-Class silhouette, AMG presence, and the performance beneath it. The objective wasn't reinvention. It was to restore the condition of the vehicle around those fundamentals, beginning with extensive body including corrosion correction, and paint work before turning attention underneath, where the chassis required a more involved mechanical renewal.
Strength Beneath the Surface
The suspension was renewed with new front and rear coil springs and shock absorbers, while the braking system received new pads, rotors, caliper components and supporting hardware. From there, the work moved deeper into the axles and hubs. Wheel bearings and seals were replaced, steering knuckles dismantled and rebuilt, axle seals renewed, and the front 4x4 assemblies cleaned, serviced and carefully readjusted.
The rear received the same attention, including wheel-bearing and seal work, parking-brake components and suspension assembly. The photo archive shows the restoration retaining the G63's factory AMG identity from its diamond-quilted leather cabin and carbon-fiber trim to the AMG exterior hardware and side-exit dual exhausts while the white bodywork was refinished to bring the truck's visual presence back into line with its mechanical condition.
The final stage was about refinement rather than transformation. Once the chassis was back together, Snow White went through fluid checks, final assembly, road testing and wheel alignment before sign-off. The result remains unmistakably G63: powerful, imposing and familiar, but renewed where the years had begun to show.
