Project Arrix reimagines the Range Rover P38 as a modern grand tourer without sacrificing the character that made it an icon. Finished in Ferrari Argento Silver and powered by a naturally aspirated Corvette LS3 V8 producing 430 horsepower, it blends unmistakable British refinement with the reliability, serviceability, and performance of a proven American powertrain. Every aspect of the build was designed to feel cohesive, preserving the personality of the P38 while elevating the ownership experience.
Refined Through Engineering
Integrating the LS3 required far more than an engine swap. Custom engine mounts, drivetrain adaptation, cooling and fuel systems, exhaust fabrication, electrical integration, and ECU calibration were engineered specifically for the P38 platform. The factory Land Rover transfer case and key vehicle systems were retained wherever possible, resulting in a drivetrain that delivers modern performance while maintaining the composed driving characteristics expected of a Range Rover.
Inside, the cabin was completely restored with an OEM+ approach. Every seating surface was retrimmed in Nappa Grain Ferrari Beige Tradizione leather with matching piping, complemented by new black carpeting and a replacement headliner. A Blaupunkt Frankfurt head unit, Kicker speakers, and a BOSS amplified subwoofer introduce Bluetooth connectivity and modern audio performance while preserving the timeless appearance of the original dashboard.
The exterior is finished in Ferrari Argento Silver, a sophisticated color that highlights the clean lines of the P38 while adding a subtle level of exclusivity. Genuine Land Rover Mondial wheels paired with BFGoodrich All-Terrain KO3 tires complete the look, giving Project Arrix the confidence to perform on-road and off while remaining true to its grand touring character.
