Back to the Blue: Breathing New Life into a ’77 Bronco

This classic 1977 Ford Bronco Sport came to us with good bones but years of wear holding it back from true drivability. The goal was clear: preserve its original charm while restoring critical systems and refreshing key surfaces to make it a usable, comfortable, and dependable cruiser once again.

Mechanical Confidence, Cosmetic Precision

We began under the skin—revitalizing the mechanical core. The entire steering system was rebuilt, from new tie rods and drag link to a fully reworked steering box and column. A new power steering pump, stabilizer, and fittings ensure smooth handling. The rear axle and differential were also disassembled and rebuilt with a new differential unit and stub shafts, while the brake system received a full overhaul including new calipers, pads, booster, and master cylinder—with everything flushed, calibrated, and buttoned up for reliable stopping power.

Highlights of the build:

  • Fully rebuilt steering system: tie rods, drag link, power steering pump, extended column

  • Rear differential rebuild with new stub shafts and axle ends

  • Complete brake system overhaul: calipers, pads, booster, master cylinder, and lines

  • New sound system installation

  • Fabricated door hinge solutions due to frame rot and B-pillar issues

  • Installed new door hardware: locks, hinges, and check straps

  • Full safety inspection and electrical systems check
