Reborn in Midnight Emerald.

When timeless off-road form meets purpose-built performance, something special happens. This 1971 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 underwent a complete frame-off restoration to transform it into a modern classic—equipped to roam where few dare while wrapped in an unmistakably heritage silhouette. Cloaked in a rich Midnight Emerald Green finish beneath a crisp white roof, it evokes a sense of adventure that starts with a glance and deepens with every turn of the key.

Every inch of this FJ40 was purposefully reimagined—starting with a 315 horsepower GM 350 Vortec engine paired with a Holley Sniper EFI system for seamless fuel delivery and crisp throttle response. Mated to a NV4500 5-speed manual transmission and a rebuilt Toyota transfer case, the drivetrain delivers raw power in controlled doses, whether on gravel, dirt, or blacktop.

Built to Roam. Refined to Remember.

To conquer the trails, an Old Man Emu suspension setup with a 2.5” lift, 12,000 lb winch, and meaty General Grabber M/Ts provide serious capability. Inside, a custom-crafted interior balances rugged spirit with refined comfort—distressed chestnut full-grain leather wraps the high-back seats and rear jump benches, while the floor is finished in wheat-toned German square-weave carpet. Even the steering wheel and shifter are nods to a golden era, with wood accents that feel more cockpit than cabin.

The climate-controlled cabin features a RetroSound Bluetooth-enabled system with four speakers and a 4x400W amp, delivering warmth and clarity. Custom rear speaker boxes, sound-deadening mats throughout, and upgraded fog lamps, work light, and LED split-headlights ensure both comfort and utility remain paramount.
