A New Dawn for an Off-Road Legend
Some builds are born from nostalgia. Others from vision. This 1970 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 is both—a full frame-off restoration meant to honor the truck’s mountain-conquering past while introducing a bold, handcrafted personality for the future. re-painted in a bespoke Morning Mist Mountain Green, every bolt, bracket, and panel has been rebuilt, plated, or replaced. To make it imminently drivable, the FJ40 has been refitted with a 315hp V8 engine mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission. The result? A head-turning, road-and-trail ready 4x4 that feels as tough as it looks.

Tradition Recrafted with a Twist
The inside speaks a different language—rugged meets refined. The original bench layout has been preserved, but reimagined with ox-blood red distressed leather and Native American-inspired fabric inserts for an unexpected, character-rich finish. Air conditioned, of course. Underneath, Old Man Emu suspension adds a 2-inch lift, supported by fresh cadmium-plated hardware, while modern touches like Bluetooth audio and split-style LED headlamps round out this FJ40 restomod’s readiness for the next chapter. Final drivetrain and interior finishes remain open for bespoke tailoring to its future owner's vision.
